Dr. Adam Lei is an associate
professor of finance at the
Dillard College of Business
Administration,
Midwestern State University (Wichita Falls,
TX). He holds a Ph.D. degree in Finance from
Louisiana State
University (LSU) and the
CFA charter from the
CFA Institute.
Dr. Lei's research interests
include investments, market efficiency, and market
microstructure. He has published
in
Journal of
Banking and Finance, Managerial Finance,
Financial Services Review,
and Journal of Economics and Finance Education. His current research examines the relations between trading
volume and stock returns, arbitrage activities in financial
markets, and other investment strategies. Dr. Lei has taught
undergraduate courses including
Business Finance (traditional, online, and hybrid),
Financial Markets and Institutions, Investments, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management,
Student Managed Investment Fund, and
Macroeconomic Principles, and
graduate courses including Advanced Applied Business
Statistics (MBA), Investments (MBA), and Seminar in Financial Research Methods
(PhD).
